My good friend Resound has finally released his Burning Shadows LP with Loxy. The release is out on Exit recordings and it is really something special. My personal favorite tracks in the LP must be Part Human (simply unbelivable!), Black Hole and Vindication, although it is very hard to choose from the total 13 top-quality tracks. Congratz on this outstanding release to Loxy & Resound. Go read more and buy your copy at www.loxyresound.com.

Hi folks, we’re going strong with another free track promotion. Check out this amazing remix by Antony G below and make sure you download it. I’m really diggin’ the mood in this chilly and atmospheric track, oww yezz.. Listen below!
Antony G, i.e. Antonio Guerrieri, plays with music just for fun (fortunately or not, depending on you) by producing mostly drum n bass tracks and drum n bass remix that can be found just on some social network player (like MySpace, Facebook, SoundCloud and so on), since still unsigned.
Antony G, i.e. Antonio Guerrieri, comes from Bari, Italy but mostly of him time is spent in Potenza (Italy) where works. What Antonio Guerrieri does for work is out of the scope of the present promotion, so that doesn’t matter.
Antony G started early playing with analogic circuit boards he made himself. (they were the times of Emerson, Lake & Palmer and progressive music in itself, then Kraftwerk, Tangerine Dream, Jean-Michel Jarre the so called electronic music). Indeed, the power of computing, of nowadays sequencers and virtual instruments permitted him to really start composing, arranging, mixing and producing the music he like. (they were the times of The Orb, Aphex Twin and Chemical Brothers).
It was a video on Circle (Adam F) and the discovering of so much “underground” music styles (thanks to Internet) that addressed him to the Drum n Bass genre.
He is particularly impressed by LTJ Bukem production and recently by Alaska, Big Bud, Blu Mar Ten, Calibre, Paradox, Seba and some other, so that it easily to anticipate the production style of Antony G: Ambient, Chilled, Jazzy Drum n Bass, the improperly-called Intelligent style, so far from the rough dance styles, but so pleasant to him …
More of Antony G’s production can be reached here:
Please favorite his tracks if you like them, download when possible and feel free to comment! Make sure to check out, as there’s some dope tunes in there…
Lightless Digital continues to put out some more Finnish d&b/jungle mastery. It’s time for Mineral to step up with his bangin’ four-tracker. “Mineral EP” consists of four tracks that will make d&b lovers dance and head-nod like there’s no tomorrow! Check out the soundclips below, and get the tunes at Juno, Digital Tunes, iTunes as well as all other good stores.
“Twisted Dream” explores the deep roots of break-oriented d&b with a proper heavy, in-your-face approach, getting all wicked with amens and apaches – Source Direct fans will go crazy for this oldschoolish tune…it’s hard to believe this one’s not from 1997!
“Mercury” is an eerie track that clearly pays homage to the Platinum-Breakz-era jungle, making you both shiver and brock out with its deadly basslines, tight drums & spooky pads. Not for the faint-hearted!
Finally, the classic Mineral track “Other Life” (released on In Da Jungle) gets the fresh revamp treatment it deserves from another talented Finnish junglehead, Trisector, who remixed the track to the proverbial next level – this is a serious dancefloor-smasher to all you neuro addicts out there.
This is a must release for all deeper dnb fans. Crank up the bass, put your dancing sneakers on and enjoy another Lightless release that won’t disappoint.

The Dude is what the Dude does.
Dangerdogg is a skateboarder turned dj/producer hailing from Helsinki, Finland. Having his influences from doom metal to rocksteady and blues this fine young skaterat isn’t afraid to combine different styles and aesthetics in to his productions.
He’s already been causing mayhem on the dancefloors with his partner Sir Nenis under the Sharkslayer moniker but this time he’s going solo for a DNB treat.
Enjoy the track and keep on sending the demos! Much appreciated.
We have another great free track up, by DJ Mauoq from Rome, now based in London. Unknown Recipient is a nice atmospheric track with some techish spices innit. Check it out!
Mauoq – Unknown Recipient [download mineral_free_019]
“I started DJing at student parties in Italy in the early ’90s and fell in love with DnB shortly after.I was exposed to music softwares in the late nineties and that slowly but steady became my obsession. I’ve played many clubs in Rome and London, but now I’m concentrating more on production. After years fiddling with various electronic music toys it’s only recently that I started feeling relatively happy about my music and my first release is coming out end of March on Green Queen Music.
Generally speaking I would like the world to know that drum’n'bass has evolved. There’s now much more to it than just rattling drums and overloud basslines. This is what I try to do with my podcast and ultimately with my own production.
This track “Unknown Recipient” was written almost entirely two years ago and I thought that a little polish would have made it a nice listen. I think I was right. I hope you agree. Enjoy.”
I’m really digging your style Mauoq, keep it up! There’s some really cool tracks in Mauoq’s soundcloud, I’d recommend you to listen “Aerosolid”, a track that has gotten dj support from Stunna.

This week’s Free Track comes from the UK by an artist called J Melodic. Jay’s songs are heavily inspired by the melodic side of drum’n'bass, just like his artistname says. Grab a coffee and start listening “Key Tempo”. Njoy!
J Melodic – Key Tempo [download mineral_free_018]
J Melodic is a UK based Dj and Producer. He started DJing back in 95 playing DnB and Uk Garage/Soulful House. After practising his DJ skills for five years, J Melodic naturally progressed in producing DnB/soulful House and other genres in 2000.
Jay’s music is influenced by many artists from the melodic side of dnb. He says, that he gets his inspirations and influences from LTJ Bukem, Lenzman, mjcole, Goldie, Fabio, Marcus Intalex, mood2swing to name but a few.
There’s a lot of variation in J Melodic’s production. I’m really digging his (WIP) We run tings, an old school track at Jay’s soundcloud. Check it out at his soundcloud.
I’m proud to present the fresh “Mineral – Promomix 2011″. This drum’n'bass mix includes 20 tunes by myself and remixes & collaboration tracks by featuring artists. Enjoy the mix!
